Panachikkadu Dakshina Mookambi Navaratri Sangeetholsam2012 to be webcasted
This year, arrangements have been made at Dakhinamookambi Temple Panachikkadu, Kottayam, Kerala to webcast the annual Dakshina Mookambi Sangeetholsavam held as part of Navaratri Celebrations. For the last several years, the temple authorities have made the application forms for performers available over the internet. This has proved extremely helpful for performers applying from distant locations. This time the authorities are planning for a live webcast of the event thus making it a nouvelle venture. This year the Navaratri celebrations will start on 16th of October and will last till October 24th 2012. Live streaming of the events will be made available through the official temple website, www.panachickad.org. and at www.carnaticindia.com and www.anakhadigitals.com
The Devaswom administration manager has also informed that the coupons for 'Vidyarabham' will be made available from branches of Dhanalakshmi bank spread over the regions starting from Ernakulam to Trivandrum. As usual the Vidyarambham rites will start at 4.00 am on the Vijayadashami day and thousands of kids will start enjoying the nectar of knowledge. Excellent arrangements are also being made for performing at the Navaratri Mandapam and for the Vidyarambham ceremony. Navaratri Programme schedule will be updated shortly in this page.
